Here are some of the benefits of a pre-season tune-up:

Reduced risk of a major breakdown…..A fouled system can stress and damage a compressor costing you in higher electrical bills and major repairs.

Increased capacity of equipment…..20% more heating and cooling can mean the difference between comfort and misery, and what you’re paying in utilities.

Reduced risk of allergies and illness…..We disinfect the indoor system and ductwork with an anti-microbial spray that controls the effects of dust mites, bacteria, mold spores and viruses for up to 6 months.

Added equipment life…..You can add 1 to 8 years of life to a system with regular maintenance – just like maintaining your car will make it run more efficiently, perform better and last longer.

Discounted repairs and services…..All of our service agreement customers receive “Priority Customer Care Service” 24 hr emergency service and a 10% discount on repairs.

Piece of mind…..Knowing that you’re saving money, reducing the risk of breakdowns, increasing health and comfort, getting priority service, 24 hr emergency service, and extending the life of your equipment.

What Air American Does on an Air Conditioning Inspection

(<----click on square to save or print cooling inspection checklist)

Maintenance is Always less expensive than repairs. CPS, PEC and all large utility companies, like most companies, advise that you get a tune-up for your heating and cooling system each season, or it may cost you more than the tune-up cost in energy wasted alone. All manufacturers factory warranties AND extended warranties are contingent based on regular maintenance and will not cover repairs due to faulty or improper maintenance.

“You’re already paying for these benefits with higher electric bills and costly repairs while risking your warranty, so why not get what you’re already paying for and improve your indoor air quality and comfort?”

9. Inspect and test all operational and safety controls for proper operation
10. Disinfect with microbial spray

11. Inspect Ductwork for cleanliness/air sealed and temperature gains

12. Inspect the outdoor fan motor amp draw/voltage/capacitor/vibration/rotation
